Start Up:

Add one gallon of this product per 10,000 gallons of water.

Weekly Maintenance:

Add one quart per 10,000 gallons of water weekly.

Directions

The concentrated form of GLB Aqua Silk Chlorine-Free Shock Oxidizer should not be allowed to come into contact with any other chemicals. Do not mix this product and other products together, since a chemical reaction producing heat may occur. Chemicals must always be added to the pool separately. Always add this product by directly pouring into the pool.

Weekly Maintenance:

Dosage Rate: Add one quart per 10,000 gallons of water weekly.

How to Apply:

  1. Very carefully, slowly pour the required amount directly into the pool water near pool inlets. DO NOT ADD TO THE SKIMMER. Wear safety goggles and rubber gloves when handling the concentrated product. Avoid splashing product into eyes or onto skin as irritation or burn may occur.
  2. Swimming may resume 15 minutes after adding this product.

I got a bad batch. I’ve used this product several times before without any issues… but the last time I bought it, the algae was terrible!! Very disappointed and had to order more to replace the bad batch.

We use the nonchlorine shock treatment on a water feature in the sanctuary at the United Church of Santa Fe. It really helps keep the "acequia" clean and clear with no chemical odor (an important feature in a sanctuary).

Love the product. The only negative comment is actually not with the product but damage that occurred in shipment. Apparently the case was inverted at some point and one of the gallon jugs took an impact that cracked the gallon at the handle which resulted in loss of some product.
