I love this! I would have had to change out sand filter balls 4 times already! With Dr. Drydens glass media, I only have to backwash and rinse for a few minutes a week and it keeps the water looking phenomenal!

Great price, quick delivery and works perfectly for my pool.
Product was easy to work with. 25lb bags are easier to maneuver than typical 50lb. I'd recommend more of the course grit than manufacturer states. Intake tubes weren't fully covered with 3 bags in my filter housing as recommended by the manufacturer. It would have been closer to 50/50 course/fine or 40/60 to get the course grit over the intake tubes to avoid small particles from clogging them in the long run. Pump runs more efficiently and water clarity improved very quickly.
The product showed up on time and has done an amazing job! I had lots of dead algae at the bottom of my pool and could not get it out completely with the filtration system that came with the pool. I purchased a sand filtration system and stepped it up with Your glass product and wow, what a difference!! Pool is cristal clear! Dr. Drydens is the way to go!

The shipping was incredibly fast especially considering the order contained 450 pounds of material. And FREE! WOW!!! The water clarity has shown a noticeable improvement. I went to vacuum the other day and, for a second, thought "Where's the water!" It was so clear! However, I did not have a good experience with their customer support. I was inquiring about another product through the chat and phone but received no answer.

Easy to install and seems to work great. Time will tell as I have only run for 8 hrs as of this writing but I did notice that in my Sand Dollar SD60 that the starting pressure is reading 11 psi where with clean sand it is around 15 psi.
Coming from using sand in my sand filter this glass media is much better. The water is more clear and it's noticeable in both the shallow and deep water. It looks cleaner. I'm curious if removing finer particles helps with algae. Today, when I checked the chlorine I had 0.5 ppm but the water was beautiful. Naturally, I brought the chlorine up to 11.5% of the cya level but I'm hopeful that the glass media will assist with algae control. For me, this stuff gives me peace of mind. Last year was a nightmare for keeping the pool but I think its going to be a different story this year and that is what I needed.
Out of the 10 bags I ordered two had a hole and I lost a lot of the material carrying them into my backyard, I didn’t realize till after the fact. It wasn’t a large hole, but it is so fine i lost about half of one bag and a little over a quarter with the other, this company made everything right and I would purchase from them again!

Used Dr Dryden's Activate in a new Pentair SD80 sand filter, and the water is unbelievably clear! I would highly recommend using Dr Dryden's Activate glass media.
Put brightline glass in my pool filter in 2022. Pool got cloudy this year and ran my filter two weeks straight at full throttle. Spent $250 on chemicals to try and get it to clear up the cloudiness. Finally after changing the filter gasket, there was nothing else to do except change the media. Thought the glass was supposed to last 5-8 years….it didn’t. I opened it up and it looked awful. Took it out and put the Dr. drydens in and let it rip. Woke up the next morning and my pool was spotless. It was absolutely incredible how quick it cleared it up. I couldn’t see the bottom of my shallow end and 16 hours later it was cleared up 100%. Didn’t add another chemical or clarifier. I’m not sure how long it was last in the long run, but it was absolutely incredible how quick it cleared my pool up. I’d highly recommend it.
