Went from a DE grid filter-nothing but problems with the grids. Used Dr Dryden's Activate in a Pentair SD80 sand filter. The water is absolutely crystal clear! Great price on a great product!

The initial shipment (fulfilled by a third party) arrived with some of the bags of Dr. Drydens Activate Glass Media ripped with much of the media having leaked out and one bag missing completely. After sending requested pictures of the damaged bags, EZ Pools was quick to ship out replacements. I'm very happy with the customer service and the product!

Easy to install and seems to work great. Time will tell as I have only run for 8 hrs as of this writing but I did notice that in my Sand Dollar SD60 that the starting pressure is reading 11 psi where with clean sand it is around 15 psi.

These bags were good
I was surprised that each bag came individually boxed but they arrived undamaged. It was kind of odd to receive tracking info on 10 separate boxes.

They were wonderful and kind to even answer the phone on a Saturday when we were locating, where the delivery was. It was nice to have a human answer the phone.
My water has never been so clear!! I was so close to shutting down the pool and calling it quits. I was tired of all the chemicals and the pool still looking cloudy. This made me come around to owning a pool. I am even considering purchasing a bigger pool. This product has really changed my outlook on owning a pool. I will never go back to any other filter medium.
Not sure of the longevity but I put it in my pool to replace bright side glass (which I would not recommend!!!) and it cleared my pool up in 12 hours. It was incredible. Highly recommend
Purchased Dr. Dryden’s coarse glass media to replace pea gravel in the bottom of my sand filter as part of a media refresh. Bought regular glass for the remainder. I’m a big fan of glass media vs. sand and it’s continuing to work well.
