Replacement safety latch for the locking ring on Sta-Rite System 2 PLM and PLD/PLDE filters (Pentair 27001-0051Z). It secures the ring so the tank lid can't back off under pressure. OEM part that pairs with cord ring 27001-0061S, used on System 2 sizes like PLM100 and PLM150.
