Dosage

Each bromine cartridge lasts between 2-4 weeks depending on spa use and size.

Instructions
Using the In-Line Spa System:

1. Prepare the Spa:

  • Before using cartridges, establish a bromine or chlorine residual of 1–2 ppm in a freshly filled spa. Use an EPA-approved spa shock or other methods as directed by the product's instructions.

2. Set the Bromine Cartridge:

  • For the first 24 hours, set the Spa Frog Bromine Cartridge to number "3." Hold the bottom of the cartridge and turn the top until "3" appears in the setting window.

3. Installation:

  • Open the cap of the In-Line System.
  • Snap the cartridge into the section labeled "Bromine Only," ensuring the indent on the cartridge aligns with the raised line on the holder.
  • After snapping the cartridge into place, reinsert the holder by aligning the arrow on the holder with the arrow on the system lip, pushing down, and locking it in place.
  • Replace the cap.

4. Monitor and Adjust:

  • Check bromine levels daily until a residual of 2–4 ppm is achieved.
  • Adjust the cartridge setting to maintain proper bromine levels, depending on spa size and usage.
Using the Floating Spa System:

1. Prepare the Spa:

  • As with the In-Line System, establish a bromine or chlorine residual of 1–2 ppm in a freshly filled spa using an EPA-approved spa shock or other methods as instructed.

2. Set the Bromine Cartridge:

  • For the first 24 hours, set the Spa Frog Bromine Cartridge to number "5." Hold the bottom of the cartridge and turn the top until "5" appears in the setting window.

3. Installation:

  • Insert the cartridge into the bottom opening of the Floating Spa System.
  • Place the entire system in the spa water.

4. Monitor and Adjust:

  • Check bromine levels daily until a residual of 2–4 ppm is achieved.
  • Adjust the cartridge setting as needed to maintain proper bromine levels, based on spa size and usage.
Using a Free-Floating Sanitizer:

1. Set the Cartridge:

  • Follow the same setup instructions as for the Floating Spa System.

2. Place in Spa:

  • Allow the cartridge to free float in the spa water.
