SpaGuard Brominating Concentrate sanitizes spa and hot tub water using a granular bromine formula that dissolves quickly and leaves no residual chlorine odor. It kills bacteria and controls contaminants while staying pH neutral, so it won't throw off your water balance with every dose.

For routine maintenance, dose 1 tsp per 200 gallons to maintain 3–6 ppm bromine. For super-oxidation or algae control, increase to 4 tsp per 200 gallons. Test water before dosing and retest after 15–20 minutes with the jets running to confirm sanitizer levels.

Always pre-dissolve granules in a bucket of water before adding to the spa. Do not add directly to the skimmer or mix with other chemicals. Keep bromine levels within the 3–6 ppm range — levels above 10 ppm can cause skin and eye irritation.
