Raypak 336A Digital NG Heater 332.5k

The Raypak 009222 (P-R336A-EN-C #51) is the high-altitude version of the 336A Digital — a 332,500 BTU natural gas residential pool and spa heater factory-configured for installations between 2,000 and 6,000 feet elevation. If you're in the mountains and the standard 009218 isn't an option, this is the correct model. It uses a #51 orifice sized for reduced atmospheric pressure at altitude, ensuring clean, efficient combustion where the standard model would run rich and underperform.

Key Features

• 332,500 BTU natural gas input — factory configured for 2,000–6,000 ft. elevation with #51 high-altitude orifice; electronic spark-to-pilot ignition
• Copper fin tube heat exchanger with polymer headers — fully nonferrous waterway, stainless steel tube sheets; no rust contamination in pool water
• ProTek Shield module included — sacrificial protection for the heat exchanger, replaceable to extend heater life
• Microprocessor digital controls with self-diagnostics — plain-English display, remote compatible with any 2- or 3-wire system
• Unitherm Governor + automatic bypass — prevents condensation and scale buildup; handles flow rates up to 125 GPM without modification

This is a high-altitude model rated for 2,000–6,000 ft. only. For installations below 2,000 ft., order the standard 009218 instead — installing a high-altitude orifice at low elevation will cause the heater to run lean, burn inefficiently, and may void the warranty.
