Raypak Natural Gas Pool Heater, Cupro-Nickel

The Raypak Digital 406A (P-R406A-EN-X #50, SKU 014941) is a 399,000 BTU natural gas pool and spa heater for inground residential pools at elevations up to 2,000 feet. It's the cupro-nickel upgrade of the standard copper 009219 — the right choice for saltwater pools, pools with aggressive water chemistry, or high-use applications where the standard copper heat exchanger would degrade faster.

If your pool uses a salt chlorine generator, cupro-nickel is the recommended heat exchanger material. The standard copper model (SKU 009219) is better suited for traditionally chlorinated pools.

Rated for 0–2,000 ft elevation only. For installs at 2,000–6,000 ft, a high-altitude configured model is required.
