Water trapped in skimmers can freeze, expand, and cause costly damage. The Gizzmo is designed to absorb the expansion of winter freeze. If water enters the skimmer and freezes, the Gizzmo will flex or 'crack' first, safeguarding your skimmer from cracking.

Directions:

1. Blow all water out of skimmers (and rest of your pool plumbing if you haven't already)
   
2. Once blown out, pour 4/5 gallon of Pool & Spa Antifreeze (see here). Screw Gizzmo into your threaded skimmer port. Pour the remainder of the antifreeze into your skimmer basket. 
3. Rest easy knowing your skimmer is protected all winter long!

Note: For best results, ensure water level in the pool is lowered and skimmer is properly drained before installing the Gizzmo.

Note: Will only fit into an 1-1/2-inch or 2-inch threded skimmers. Most skimmers from Hayward, Pentair, Sylvan, & others will have this. Look into your skimmer before purchasing!
