Add 6 to 11 fluid ounces of this product per 10,000 gallons of water.

Routine Maintenance

Add 2 to 4 fluid ounces per 10,000 gallons of water every 5 to 7 days.

Visible Algae Treatment

For pools with visible algae growth, add 11 to 17 fluid ounces per 10,000 gallons of water.

Directions

Routine Application

With the pool in normal operation, add the recommended dose of Algaecide 60 (typically 2-4 fluid ounces per 10,000 gallons) around the pool perimeter, weekly. Ensure proper circulation and maintain balanced water chemistry.

Algae Treatment

  1. Brush pool surfaces thoroughly to loosen algae.
  2. Apply Algaecide 60 at a treatment dose (e.g., 6-11 fluid ounces per 10,000 gallons) directly onto affected areas. Ensure a pH level of 7.4 - 7.6 & a Free Chlorine reading of around 5 ppm.
  3. For stubborn black algae on white plaster pools, you can sprinkle granular shock (Cal-Hypo) on top of the algae. Allow the shock to sit on the black algae for a few minutes, then brush away. Algaecide alone will not remove black algae.

Severe Algae Treatment (Green to Clean)

  1. Heavily shock the pool with an oxidizer like Super Shockwave to rapidly elevate free chlorine levels.
  2. Apply a higher dose of Algaecide 60 (e.g., 11-17 fluid ounces per 10,000 gallons) uniformly across the pool.
  3. Vigorously brush all pool surfaces to remove extensive algae deposits.
