Replacement manifold bypass valve kit for Pentair MasterTemp and Sta-Rite Max-E-Therm pool and spa heaters (77707-0001). It regulates internal bypass flow to the heat exchanger to maintain proper water velocity and help prevent overheating at low flow. The assembly is an OEM part that installs in the heater's water manifold.
