Air Bleed Tube Assembly

This molded plastic air bleed tube mounts inside the filter tank on Pentair Clean & Clear Plus 240, Quad D.E., and FNS Plus filters, carrying trapped air up to the manual air relief valve on the lid so it can be purged.

Compatibility

• Pentair Clean & Clear Plus 240 (CCP240) cartridge filter

The bleed tube is the only path for air trapped at the top of the tank to reach the manual air relief valve on the lid - if it's cracked or missing, opening the relief valve won't clear the air pocket and the filter will run loud with reduced flow.
