Replacement top elbow assembly for Hayward ProSeries Plus sand filters S311SX and S311SXV (S311 after 1996), part SX311CD1FW. It connects the tank's upper internal plumbing, routing water between the multiport valve and diffuser to maintain proper flow and pressure. This is a genuine OEM component and fits post-1996 S311-series only-verify the filter label before ordering.
