This bypass valve kit replaces the worn baffle and brass bypass assembly in Hayward H-Series gas heaters with the old-style plastic header, restoring proper flow-control thermostat and bypass function.

Compatibility

• Hayward H2001, H1501, and H2501 heaters manufactured before 10/28/2000
• Does not fit later Hayward H-Series heaters using stainless steel bypass fittings with a 10-inch, 3-hole baffle
