Important Guidelines:

• Do not mix different products in the same bottle or pail. Apply this product directly into the pool water.
• Swimming can resume 15 minutes after application, though optimal results are achieved if the water remains still for a while.
• For best results, apply in the evening or during times when the pool will not be in use.

Preparation Before Use:

1. Backwash or clean the filter prior to use.
2. Adjust the pH to 7.2-7.4.
3. If using chlorine or bromine as a sanitizer, ensure levels are below 3 ppm, with an ideal range around 1 ppm.
4. Avoid shocking the pool for one week after applying this product.

Application:

• To remove surface stains, turn off the pump and wait for 1 hour before applying.
• Add this product evenly around the pool’s perimeter at 1 pound per 10,000 gallons of water. For heavy staining or highly discolored water, use 1 pound per 5,000 gallons.

Follow-Up Steps:

1. After 4 hours or overnight, apply Durachlor Rust-n-Scale as per the instructions.
