The ST1072 is an up-rated, single-speed 3/4 HP AC induction motor with a 56J frame and threaded 0.625" shaft, built to replace the OEM motor on a wide range of residential pool and spa filter pumps.

The similarly numbered Century UST1072 (round-flange, 1.0 service factor) and CT1072 (full-rated, 3600 RPM) motors have different amperage and RPM ratings and do not interchange with the ST1072.
