The Century Centurion B2981 is a 3/4 HP, two-speed, 115V single-phase motor on a 56Y square flange frame, built to replace the drive motor on in-ground pool pumps.

The motor ships without a power cord or hi/low speed toggle switch; wire it using the diagram printed on the motor nameplate.
This motor does not meet Title 20 (California) or NYSERDA (New York) variable-speed requirements; those applications call for a motor like the Century EVQ130.
