2HP Up-Rated Pool Pump Motor 56Y

The B2855 is a single-speed, 230V pool pump motor with a square-flange 56Y frame that bolts to the pump's seal plate and drives the impeller via a threaded stainless-steel shaft. It replaces the discontinued Century B855 on many common in-ground pump bodies.

Key Features

• 2.0 HP up-rated, 2.2 total HP
• Single speed, 3450 RPM
• Sealed ball bearings, both ends
• Threaded stainless steel shaft, 1/2"
• PSC motor, capacitor mounted on top

Compatibility

• Pentair Challenger, WhisperFlo, SuperFlo/SuperMax, Pinnacle
• Sta-Rite Max-E-Glas, Dura-Glas, Dyna-Glas, Dyna-Pro
• Hayward TriStar SP3200/SP3600

Replace the pump's shaft seal whenever the motor is replaced; a worn seal lets water reach the new bearings and can void the motor's warranty.

This single-speed motor cannot be shipped, sold, or installed in California or New York under state energy-efficiency regulations.
