The B2848V1 is a single-speed, dual-voltage (115/230V) PSC motor with a square flange and 56Y frame, built to replace a failed motor on full-rated 1 HP in-ground pool pumps.

Replace the pump's shaft seal, or install a full tune-up kit, at the same time as the motor, since water intrusion from a worn seal can damage the new motor.
This motor is not California Title 20 compliant and cannot be sold or installed in California or New York.
