The B2843 is a single-speed, single-phase 2 HP square flange motor built on a 56Y frame for in-ground pool and spa pumps, running at 3450 RPM on 208-230V.

This single-speed motor does not meet California Title 20 or New York NYSERDA energy-efficiency rules, so sale and installation are restricted in those states.
