Carvin CFR Series Lock Ring

This lock ring secures the lid to the tank body on Carvin/Jacuzzi cartridge, D.E., and sand filters. It's a one-piece molded plastic ring that replaces a cracked, broken, or blown-off original.

• Small yellow plastic lock tab

Inspect the Tank Body O-ring held in place by this ring and replace it if stretched, cracked, or bleeding, and check the lid and tank body for cracks before installing a new ring.

An oversized pump relative to the filter can cause the lock ring to blow off.
